Nelly Openning Recording School In His Hometown

Nelly is working with Vatterott College in Missouri to open a new recording school in his hometown of St. Louis.

Nelly, born Cornell Iral Haynes, Jr, is having his restaurant, Skybox converted into an advanced recording studio.

The “Just A Dream” rapper’s new school has already been dubbed the Ex’treme Institute.

Capitol Connections Agency Forced To Pay $750K For Fake Nelly Concert

Capitol Connections Agency has lost their battle against a Taiwanese production company who filed a lawsuit against CCA back in April for failure to produce Nelly for gig.

The Taiwanese production company has won a $724,000 lawsuit against a U.S. talent agency failed to deliver rapper Nelly for a New Year’s concert.

Loop production filed a federal lawsuit against the United States based company, Capitol Connections Agency (CCA) in April of 2010.

The original lawsuit claimed that CCA of took over $40,000 to book Nelly for a New Year’s eve gig in Taiwan.

Nelly Back In The Studio Working On New Untitled Project

Nelly is back to work on the next album to follow his most recent release 5.0.

The St. Louis, Missouri rapper, born Cornell Haynes, Jr., was reportedly unhappy with the album sales of 5.0.

However, 5.0‘s break out single, “Just A Dream,” earned him a Grammy nomination and sold over 4 million copies, proving the rapper’s star power.

Nelly recently spoke to Today Show hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb.
