On Tuesday, Bihar  Public  Service Commission announced the exam date on its official website for the 31st Bihar Judicial  Service Prelims 2020 exam. Candidates who wish to be appearing in the exam and have filled the application form can now check the latest notification at the official website at bpsc.bih.nic.in.

The exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 6 in two shifts. The first shift will start from 11:30 am and end at 1 pm, the aspirants will have to appear for general studies examination, and the second shift exam will be conducted from 2 pm to 4 pm. The second paper will be a law test in which knowledge of aspirants related to the law would be checked. The exam was scheduled to be held on August 9 to recruit 221 posts of Civil Judge. 

According to the notice that was issued by Bihar Public Service Commission on their official website, the Bihar Public Service Commission will issue the admit card. It will be available on their website before one week of the exam. Candidates can download the admit card and get to know other essential details related to the exam.

Bihar Judiciary exam syllabus (Prelims)-

The candidates need to qualify in both Paper 1 (General  Studies) and Paper 2 (Law)  to appear in Mains and interview.  A minimum of 30 marks in general English and Hindi paper, then the candidate will qualify for the Mains exam. These papers are qualifying in nature, and these two papers marks will not be counted in the final merit.     

Bihar Judiciary exam syllabus (mains)

Candidates need to prepare these subjects for the Mains or second stage of this exam: General Knowledge, including current affairs, Elementary  General Hindi, General English, and Law of Evidence and Procedure.

Bihar Judiciary exam (interview)-

This is the final round of the exam. Here the interviewer checks the personality and essential knowledge and etiquette of candidates.

Bihar Judiciary exam Admit Card 2020 

After evaluating all the application forms submitted by candidates, the bihar judiciary exam board of  BPSC  will issue the admit card to those candidates who meet all the criteria of this examination. 

The admit BPSC will give a card on its official website. Admit cards will be issued before two weeks of the exam date. You will be updated when the admit card will be released on the official website of BPSC, candidates need to check regularly.

Candidates would be able to obtain the admit card after filling in all the required details from BPSC  official website.

Bihar Judiciary exam Pattern 2020-

  • Paper 1 (100 marks) –   General Studies                      
  • Paper 2 (150 marks) –   Law

Mains exam-

  • General Knowledge including Current affair-   150 
  • Elementary General science-   100
  • General Hindi-   100                                                 
  • General English-   100                                                
  • Law of Evidence and Procedure-   150

Important note- General  Hindi and  General  English papers are qualifying in nature. Candidates need to score a minimum of 30 marks in these papers to be eligible for the  Mains exam. These papers’ marks will not affect the final marks of candidates and his/her rank.
